Thornton — who starred alongside Heard in the film "London Fields" — claimed he was never involved with the actress following a disturbing report that her estranged ex Johnny Depp wrote a cryptic message in blood and paint alluding to an affair between to the two, TMZ reported.
Thornton told the gossip site that the cheating allegation is "completely false" — even categorizing it as ridiculous. Heard and her legal team claim Depp sliced off a piece of his finger during a heated argument in March 2015, writing "Easy Amber" and "Billy Bob" on a mirror in dark blue paint and blood, according to the report.
The "Danish Girl" actress says Depp has accused her of cheating with Thornton, 61, and other men.
Thornton, though, is adamant he had no relationship with Heard on the set of the film. He said the pair did not even socialize, except for one cast dinner.

The news of the bloody finger incident came just days after TMZ published a video showing Depp throwing a wine bottle and slamming a cabinet during an argument with Heard.
The two have yet to reach a divorce settlement as Depp and his legal team maintains he never committed any acts of domestic violence.
